Pamela Ralat is an Emmy Award-winning editor specializing in documentary and non-fiction works, began her editing career with Dave Davidson’s film Hans Richter: Everything Turns Everything Revolves. Based on her work for that film, Pamela was honored with a finalist position for the Karen Schmeer Editing Fellowship for emerging documentary editors. Since then, Pamela has added a diversity of projects to her portfolio, including: the television documentary Estado Critico for Univision Television with Peabody Award-winning producer/director Nina Alvarez, the National Board of Review filmmaker’s grant recipient Un Petit Bout de Terre, and the NEA Funded multi-platform project Rescoring Richter; again with director Dave Davidson.

Most recently, Pamela completed the feature-length film A Gesture and a Word, a documentary on the singer/songwriter Rob Morsberger following his diagnosis of terminal brain cancer. This film, once again with director Dave Davidson, has received an Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and was recently screened at the Ashland Independent Film Festival.
